Didn buy the PS3 version as it didn strike(pun not intended) me as my type of game but when you add achievements and online it makes for a very attractive package.

Any whatever age your 360 - it’s controllers will have rumble and shudder and none of the Wii-imitating tilt nonsense!

This game and series is terrible.

why do you say that? It should have a decent size following. I’m sure there are many VF fans anxious for online support.

I liked the demo. Purchase is highly likely.

Have it for Ps3. Best fighting game EVER.
Tekken is for kids. Virtua fighter is for real men.

the reason, and only reason i like the vf series beginning with 4, is because it actually takes some skills to be really good at it. it takes a lot of practice and is not noob friendly. meaning you cant just smash buttons and hope to get crappy lil combos goin that can give you an easy cheesy win.
there was one character that did that on vf4 and my brother would whoop my ass, but when i’d choose that char and he chose the one that he mastered, i couldnt touch him.
i think i just spoke a lotta of blah cuz i wasnt payin attention to what i wrote and kept being interupted, oh well hope ya get what i mean.

Boo hiss boo.

Is the demo for one player or two? I am guessing there isn’t an online mode in the demo?

2 player local, no online in demo.

^^^^Thanks

Tekken, VF, DOA..(put more here), same shit different name. This fighting genre sucks balls.
Give me more slow paced fighting games like Fight Night and Pride FC. LOVE IT!
Wouldn’t it be cool to see a martial arts fighting game like VF with realistic movement speed and animations?

Comment by Pwner on 2007-10-13 09:12:42 | Reply

..and ragdoll physics.. and use of euphoria (NaturalMotion) technology..

Realistic fights are horribly boring

maybe.. but I still would like to see some evolution. I still can’t see any improvement from the very first Tekken game and the latest. The character movement and collision detection in these games is so bad. Well.. actually I respect that some people enjoy these games and they kind of have to move and look like this. I just wonder why, and think that maybe its because there aren’t any alternatives yet.

As I’ve stated many times before, the fighting genre has been the least to evolve over the years. I hear all kinds of excuses but with next-gen hardware, no one wants to take the risk.

I haven’t played fighting games consistently for about two years. I’ve tried them all and played them all…this VIRTUA FIGHTER seems to be the best. Might be worthy of purchase but not fo $60 bucks.
