well its been ready since xmasish for the pc, but cos of a deal between iw/av/ms they wont release it until 360 is patched

the patch would have been nice…when i acctuly cared. no one who bout call of duty 2 still plase it online exeped a few people. i have PDZ and COD and i dont play eather becas of the massive issuse sereosly i dont think this guy should have been let go for realeesing info no one cares about we have bigger and better games to wery about now like oblivion and GRAW and the outfit. i have moved on i onec cared about the patch but now i dont even when it comes out im probebly not downlodeing it. be happy

Ghost Recon’s getting 9’s across the board. This raises the bar for Bungie, who will of course be making something in the 9.5 - 10 range. (I’m not a big Halo fan but this is how it’ll turn out.)

man you guys are hard on the man– Tally has spent so much time helping CoD players with bugs and poor software glitching their machines it isnt funny— nobody knows more about the files, and servers than him— he will always help anybody– and ive seen him help countless mugs get back into the game with his knowledge and very prompt help with anything CoD. if the game wasnt so dam flucked up with texture glitches- bad maps you can throw a grenade across the whole thing– the shotgun with a range far too long for a scatter gun– the hit boxes amazingly huge on the scoped out sniper– shall i continue? Tally was trying to give hope to all the CoD players fed up with a game they just bought– people hated this new set up from the get, and were crying for a patch the first week it was out!! boy thats some good software! congrats to IW for giving us a broken game with no anti-cheat– and making us pay dearly for it! the cheating is rampant at this point– I SUPPORT TALLY! i think when red orchestra comes out, IW will see the repercussions of their actions: empty servers

Well said WarBonger - Anyone who gives up their time for others should be given a second chance, who cares about a patch release “leak”?! I think they are just trying to blame someone for the lack of a patch and the fact they are working on too many games at once, they automatically thought that COD2 would be a success on xbox360 so they are updating that quicker than COD2 for the pc? what the hell, i played the 360 one and its a bunch of bollox. Keep to what you know best IW finish the PC games first! And as i’m a mapper, for god sakes release the COD2 SDK, thats the only way your going to make up for your sins.

As far as I am concerned, who cares about leaks or whether this person said this or not, or the accuracy of all of this. Bottom line, here it is the beginning of March and still no patch update. The people who need to be terminated are IW and Activision, not Tally. Shame on them for not releasing this game with Punkbuster and the necessary tools right from the start and then to take all this time and still no update for PC. Sorry IW and Activision, all this hype from you, you blew it!!!! Piss poor effort on your part!!!

I am the owner of 2 cod 2 servers, one UO server and a teamspeak server. Also the owner of spottergaming.com, Spotter Gaming League {SGL} and the Spotter Gaming Clan -=SGC=-
Infinity Ward and Activision, IMO, have ruined everything they worked for over the years when Call of Duty 2 was released without a working anti-cheat. They let money and greed stop them from designing a FSP game that should have been great out of the box. If you look back and see the experience they gained from releasing CoD1 without an anti-cheat and a bug filled game, you will notice how much better United Offensive was when it was released.
They took a major step backwards with CoD2 and seemed to forget the lessons learned after CoD1 was released.
Now they are sucking up to Microsoft. First they design the game for the Xbox and then adjust it to work on the PC….and not very well as it has many of the bugs that CoD1 had. Map exploits, not enough gamestate memory, no anti-cheat and even addded a few with using dx-7 and dx-9.
Just the printing on the outside of the over-priced box for the PC is wrong. Try running that game at its minimal requirements as printed on the box..it would be like playing in the mud and laggy as hell.
After talking my members into buying this game and using our hard-earned members money and mine to pay for all the servers we have up before it was released and now to be treated like they could care less about customers….especially the PC customers since they are making love to Microsoft right now, I for one may just quit the entire CoD series that I love so much and get away from these ignorant masters of BS.
I wish to thank Infinity Ward and Activision for ruining one of the best First Person Shooter game series ever made and making my life a total hell listening to constant complaints about possible cheaters, crappy hitbox registering that comes and goes, awful fps rate and no quick-download capability to download custom maps and mods and not releasing a patch and dev-tools in a timely manner.
Let me tell you this IW and Activision. Simply releasing a game to the public that doesn’t crash means nothing. The project is not complete until the entire package is ready…..I think you could have waited another 6 months and added a/c, bug fixes you knew existed in CoD1 should have note been in CoD2 and the dev-tools should have been released as soon as the game was ready….you guys learned all this three years ago….Pull your heads out of MS’s ass and get back to supporting your customers, if you still have any!

This might be the wrong site and topic to moan about the PC version of the game, but I’ve had it with you guys! three weeks ago there were rumors about the patch release within two weeks. Even my poor counting skills makes that one week ago? I haven’t played the CoD2 game in two weeks because of all the bugs and the maps are driving me crazy! (in long distance the bushes dissappear etc., what the f*ck is that??) Told my clanmates to contact me as soon as the patch is released, but still nothing! Maybe I’ll just suggest that our clan switch to another WW2 first person shooting game. I even read that the patch only will contain 2 new maps, f*ck my mothers f*t *ss!!! Tomorrow I’ll steal my brothers X-box, piss on it, BURN IT, record the hole thing on my digicam and release the video on every website containing the word x-box or call of duty 2!!!

First of all the patch leak was just a very very very tiny portion. It was the “other” issues that got him FIRED.

1) Stealing other peoples work and claiming it as his own
2) Making a false police report
3) Falsely accussing 2 other modders of hacking his computer
4) Falsely accussed 1 other modder of making physical threats to his family

Item 1 was proved by the 3 mod teams of said material. Also Tally was fired from those mod teams for said actions.

Items 2, 3 and 4 were proved by the UK Police and the matter has been concluded and closed. The defendants in this matter, the accussed has been cleared of all wrong doing(s). It was found to be a scam by Tally to make himself look good.

Read the front page news. All modders who OWNED said work did come forward to disprove Tally and to set the record stright on whos work it is. It was not Tally’s.

In closing, do not think that Tally is a angel. He is nothing but a scam artist period.
