Starbreeze is working on The Darkness sequel
Producer of The Darkness comics, Top Cow Comics accidentally leaked information to a Dutch rapper that a sequel to The Darkness videogame is currently being developed by Starbreeze Studios. The first iteration was a pretty big success, and thus a sequel is inevitable, but we’re still awaiting official confirmation.
The Dutch rapper called Lycan Strife created a rap about The Darkness a month ago and is friends with someone at Starbreeze apparently. The soon-to-be ex-employee told him that a sequel is currently in the works for next-gen consoles and should ship in late 2008 or perhaps early 2009. Mr. Strife ‘leaked’ this information to Dutch gaming website Xbox 360 Only, who obviously posted it on their website. If you click on the link of Lycan Strife’s website, be warned that it might hurt your ears severely.
And yes, The Darkness game will have a sequel. It may be late 2008 or 2009!
The credibility of a Dutch rapper leaves a lot to be desired unfortunately, so we’ll classify this post as a rumor while we await official confirmation.

hopefully its better than the first - that was not all that good. Multiplayer was worst around.
I wasn’t too impressed with the first one either …
i thought it had good ideas just poorly executed
multiplayer was terrible lag almost evrey gme and when u did get a gme without it lag, it was pretty crap anyway
loved the singleplayer campaign. just make the bastard run faster in the second game please.
Seconded
I liked it but the multi player was disastrous for me near enough unplayable from all the lag lets hope it works next time round or they could just work on Riddick
