SWOS release date confirmed

At long last, Sensible World of Soccer has been given a release date, one that is rather far away from the August one we had previously been promised.

The 19th December will be the Wednesday of choice, as Microsoft have confirmed to Codemasters that the game is actually ready now. Cynics amongst us will believe it when they physically see it up on the Xbox Live Arcade, however we are promised it will be here so let us all hope that nothing gets in the way.

It’s a lovely Christmas present; one that is sure to delight many a football fan come the Winter. It should be arriving for the grand sum of 800 Points. Well worth it.

“Microsoft have confirmed to Codemasters that the game is actually ready now.”

Why don’t they release it now then?

Because there are a load of other games waiting to be released probably.

Can’t just butt in the queue, that’s rude.

800 MSP?

did I read that right?
Why isn’t this priced like the rest of the retro junk? I’m sorry, but I think that price point is a bit much for a 15 year old game.

You obviously haven’t played and enjoyed it…it’s not retro junk, it’s been overhauled for, what, 9 months? At least? Give the poor code monkeys some money!
I am so pleased it’s finally coming!

Do you REALLY believe that they worked on it for 9 months?
