Gripshift coming to XBLA

New Zealand developer Sidhe Interactive announced today that their hit PSP title, Gripshift, will be making its way to XBLA. The game which mixes racing and puzzle action will see its third release, after the PSP version in 2005 and the version released on PSN earlier this year, sometime next month.

Gripshift offers a combination of racing, platforming and puzzle action. A look at its metacritic score, the PSP version stands at a 70, shows that Sidhe Interactive might have bitten off a bit more than they could chew. The game won’t be a straight port however, SI has promised that the XBLA version will have new single player courses as well as a multiplayer deathmatch mode. Toss in the game’s track editor and leaderboars, and the title should keep you coming back for a while. Look for more info and a definite release date in the coming weeks.

this sounds cool - hopefully it will be no more than 800MSP. Does anyone know how much this is on the PSN?

It costs $9.99.

I’m glad this one is coming to XBLA. I enjoyed it a lot on PSP

What Michel and Mu said, one fun little game. Actually one of the most underrated games ever. (dont think of it as, or approach it as a racer)
