Metal Slug 3 arrives on XBLA

As promised, Metal Slug 3 has been made available for download on the Xbox Live Arcade. Unexpectedly though, the Xbox 360 Hard Drive is required to store the title. Not only that, but the game description provided on the Dashboard is misleading, since it states the game features multiplayer for up to six players, instead of the expected 2-player co-op. Looks like somebody had a glass too much of champagne …

Now I just need a lag-free online Guilty Gear game and I’ll be the happiest man alive.

Got me, good old arcade shooter but it should be $5 not $10. I think the old Xbox got all the Metal Slugs on a disc for cheap if i remember right.

Purchased without even checking out the trial version. The Metal Slug series is amongst the best arcade titles ever. With better design concepts and animation then you’ll find in today’s ultra short games.

Purchased too soon. It’s arcade ‘enhanced’ visuals can’t be switched off. They don’t look too bad for once but almost everyone will want the original visuals.

No blood.

The 360 controller isn’t too suited for the game I find. Its hard to jump away from an enemy whilst shooting back at him.

so what is this 2 player coop and 6 player verses

or 4 player coop or 6 player coop someone please explain

I haven’t tried it yet but the press release from last week stated that it’s gonna include only 2-player co-op play. There was no mention of versus multiplayer …

hmmm i want to buy it im just waiting for chris 2 be done- so ill find out but it must have sum form off multiplayer unless its maybe 6 in a party and 2 player coop as 1 person dies the next drops in

I tried the demo but the graphics didn’t look very ‘enhanced’ to me compared to when I had it on the PS2. It may well be a great game but it’s a retro re-release so exactly how is this 800 points?
