Devil May Cry 4 to feature online ranking
While we await the imminent release of a playable demo for Devil May Cry 4, believe it or not, there are still several things we don’t know about the game. One question is why is there an Xbox Live logo sitting comfortably at the top right corner of the Limited Edition’s box art revealed in November when we already know there will be no multiplayer whatsoever? Thanks to a poster on NeoGAF forums, we now know the answer.
Though Capcom hasn’t made any mention of this feature yet, a high-res scan of the manual from the PS3 version clearly demonstrates that online ranking will be featured for the first time ever in a Devil May Cry game. Besides giving players a chance to compete for that sweet top spot on the leaderboards, the game will also let you check your friends’ accomplishments and game statistics from the single-player campaign.
Devil May Cry 4 is hitting store shelves on January 31st in Japan, February 5th in North America, and lastly February 8th in Europe.

why is it people always seem to forget that an XBL logo can be easily on a single player game if they do the toplist scoring etc.
Bioshock has “Xbox Live” on the box. It’s not exactly uncommon. The only game I can think of that doesn’t is Assassin’s Creed.
Bioshock has it because it has downloadable content. XBL logo means Leaderboards, DLC or online play.
