Left 4 Dead comes alive in late Summer
Shack News are reporting that Left 4 Dead, originally scheduled for a Q1 release this year, will see the light of day this coming Summer.
Valve have apparently been in contact with Shack News and stated they are aiming for a release in August or September. At least there will be something to look forward to when the long Summer comes to end.
For those not in the know, Left 4 Dead is a co-op survival horror game, in a similar vein to Resident Evil: Outbreak. You have to work together in order to complete the mission, and at the same time do your best not to get infected.
Hopefully we will see more of the game soon, but for now you’ll have to settle for a video of the game to give you a taste of what to expect from the recently acquired developers Turtle Rock Studios.

This look great!
that games for the brain dead
Been there done that in a 1000 games before…
i reckon this game will probley lead the way for the early x-mass period of games much like bioshock did this year.
looking forward to it loads. coop should be very fun
Fuck sake, looks like it’s going to be 2007 Christmas releases all over again.
Looks very cool, very smooth and fast. Those zombies remind me of Rage Virus humans.
What’s with everyone claiming that this game has been done a million times before? The crazy zombie co-op action looks like a blast. I don’t think there’s been a game like this since Zombies Ate My Neighbors.
