Just when you think things might be getting a little stale with Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2, Ubisoft releases their latest piece of downloadable content. The GRAW 2 Co-op Collection, which will set you back 800 Microsoft Points, adds an all-new cooperative campaign, as well as nine new maps, seven of which are based on maps from earlier Ghost Recon games. Nine new achievements worth 125 points have also been added for those Achievement junkies out there.

In the new cooperative campaign, the Ghosts are assigned the task of stopping the uprising led by one Manuel Suazo Azcona, the leader of a rebel movement in El Salvador. Azcona’s plan appears to be an attempt to destabilize the governments of both El Salvador and neighbouring Honduras. By weakening the governments of each nation, Azcona will incite the people to try and overthrow both countries’ U.S.-backed leaders. The campaign consists of five maps which are based on levels from the original Ghost Recon and the Island Thunder expansion pack.

For the adversarial multiplayer fans, the nine maps added in this pack are Business Park, Rooftop, Caves, Railroad Bridge, Battlefield, Plantation, Swamp Airfield, Prison and Castle. Business Park and Rooftop are entirely new maps, while the others are, once again, based on maps from the original Ghost Recon and its expansion. Solo players haven’t been left out, as a free downloadable weapon pack has been added. This pack contains some seven new weapons for use in Quick Missions.
