Ninja Gaiden II “demo” disappoints
Just about anyone who’s been keeping an eye on the content coming out of GDC had to be excited to see that a Ninja Gaiden II demo was coming in the onslaught of GDC content. Well now the demo is available for selection in the GDC menu, although it’s not what we, and countless others, were expecting.
The demo that we were all fired up for is simply a video of Tomonobu Itagaki playing through a level of the game at GDC. For those of you away from your 360s, the video above is a run through of the same level by a different player and without Itagaki’s commentary or controller issues, the battery on his wireless controller died twice during the demo. Aside from the disappointment at the poor labeling of the DLC, the video itself shows a game that looks better and better each time we see it. From the weapon choices to the fast paced combat, Ninja Gaiden 2 appears to be poising itself for a blockbuster release this June. Check out the GDC content page to watch the demo for yourself, but be warned, like other GDC content it’s not a HD download. Never played any of the NG series but man the GDC video on the Marketplace looked utter trash. It barely looked better than the Conan demo.
I can wait.
No jokes man the demo might not be HD but the presentation was solid I mean the gameplay and the final boss looks out of the world.
I think article mean to say that the video was not of good quality and the commentry given by Itagaki was not well done. That was the dissapointment but as far as the game goes it was perfect. So dont bash NG2 without understanding what the current article actually says.
The Hd format of the video you have given here can be found at Gametrailers. I have downloaded it already and using my pen drive to run it on 360.
So get it from gametrailers if market place video is not proper.

I hope for an easy mode… I’m still stuck in the first NG, my son got a lot further but I’m the kinda guy who likes to kill every enemy that pops up and then look at the scenery before I go any further

I really liked the original but I’m not quite sure about this one. The camera looks like it whips around and stuff but maybe it works when you are the one playing it. And where are the other ninjas?
I loved the original. This looks ok, but nothing that great. We’ll see for sure when the game actually comes out in the Summer.
i was watching the demo on my 360 when my gf came in the room, she thought it was some weird mission on DMC 4, her words were “what the fuck happened to Dante?”
