Condemned 2 demo release imminent?

In case you’ve been recently observing the Xbox.com product page for Sega’s upcoming hobo sim, Condemned 2: Bloodshot, you might’ve noticed there’s some interesting piece of info tucked away at the bottom of the site that says: “Experience it now with the free demo.” Confirmation of a Condemned 2 demo coming our way soon? It certainly seems so.

Clicking the link takes you to a new site which explains what’s featured in the demo:

This free Marketplace demo gives you a glimpse into the incredibly brutal world of Condemned 2: Bloodshot™. You begin outside the lowest, seediest dive in town and your situation goes downhill from there, starting with a rapidly escalating fight with some back alley-thugs that show you the ropes of the combat system.

By the sounds of it, the demo should already be available for download. However, if you take a look at the Marketplace, you’ll see that’s not the case. Maybe tomorrow then?

well, since xbox.com says the demo is up, and it is clearly not, the headline “Condemned 2 demo release imminent” might better be classified under rumor. this certainly seems to be unconfirmed. although i would love to see it!

Well since Xbox.com states the demo is already up on the XBLM, that’s certainly good enough evidence to assume the demo will be released any time now. But to suit you better, I added a question mark ;)

Although didn’t they do this with Tony Hawk’s Project 8? The demo of that came out 2 or 3 months after it was listed as being on the marketplace on the web.
