Grateful Dead headlines tomorrow’s Rock Band DLC

Harmonix has been hard at work and Dead Heads everywhere should be grateful. Tomorrow’s Rock Band DLC is a super-sized pack of nothing but Grateful Dead songs, and they’re all masters!

Straight from Harmonix on the Rock Band forums.

Grateful Dead Pack (all songs by the Grateful Dead)

“China Cat Sunflower” (Master)
“Casey Jones” (Master)
“Sugar Magnolia” (Master)
“Truckin” (Master)
“Franklin’s Tower” (Master)
“I Need A Miracle” (Master)

All songs can be bought individually for $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points) or the whole pack can be purchased for $9.99 (800 Microsoft Points).

While this is certainly a good week for Grateful Dead fans, hopefully it’s another step towards the promised album downloads. The pack should be available tomorrow morning, at least to those of us who already have the game. Sorry Europe!

PASS GD are so overrated. Why not a 6 pack of Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin?

Comment by Nekro on 2008-03-03 18:51:13 | Reply

overrated? I’ve never even heard of them.

Wow … sad day.

Now CCR that would be a good buy, however Foggerty is copyright crazy and that can’t be an easy buy for harmonix.

We play Bad Moon Rising a lot for the sound checks in the band, never fails to get the feet tapping.

SMILER

anyone else think these music downloads are a bit too pricey???

Comment by Maxxx1 on 2008-03-03 20:44:47 | Reply

no Werewolves of London?

Comment by Wet Vein on 2008-03-04 02:53:17 | Reply

Yeah I wouldn’t mind that one….. but I preferred the original version by Warren Zevon….. his howl was better.

i find that interesting cause thats the only one i kinda know lol

6 songs for 10 bucks is not bad but I was really looking forward to the “thrash pack”. Can’t wait for that.
