Ghost Recon 3 demo on Marketplace… or not?
A new page on Xbox.com states that the long-awaited demo for Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter is now available for download. Considering how great this game is you should certainly have a look if you’re one of the few people that hasn’t bought the full game yet. No info on the site on which mission is included and what you get to do, so you’ll have to make do with the marketing blurt:
The Advanced Warfighter demo lets you test-drive future military technologies like the Cross-Com, a groundbreaking, satellite-powered communication device that gives you real-time command of your forces and total awareness of the battlefield.
People have reported not being able to find the demo yet on the Marketplace, so Microsoft might be slow in uploading it or there could be regional restrictions not mentioned on the information page yet. We’ll keep you posted on progress, and hope they didn’t do the pull trick again.

It’s not there yet, at least not in the Netherlands. Just checked it and there’s still only the Trailer and Development Diary.
I just received confirmation from several people that the demo is there in the Netherlands, please double check

I can’t see it either but I’m sure it won’t take long if MS says it’s up.
I believe it’s only on the demo’s and trailers section at the moment so try there.
You should really have bought the game by now it’s AWESOME! No need to download the demo just go buy it!!!!

I normally don’t like and play much shooters, I am a racing lover. And my Euro’s are only possible to use one time with a game so I would like to try it, even though everyone says its great. So yes we need the demo

I have seen that trick already, but isn’t it the problem with one month trial gold that when I activate a second account I will take the second of the in total three tries of the free Gold months then?
@ M.A.R.T yes fair enough comment mate. But i’m sure you will like it. Single player is very hard but it’s the multiplayer that really stands out with thousands of customisable game types. This is without a doubt the most polished game for the 360 so far, and we are only 4-5 month’s in to the next gen!

So I created a second account USA but guess what, I’ve just burned the second free month gold because it is upgraded automatically and even not the GRAW demo online in the States… Well then just download the Ridge Racer 6 demo that wasn’t in Europa available also.
But the GRAW storie continues with nothing there… yet
@ Munkai, I think you are right when I read the reviews and see the video’s, but still I like playing demo before buying. And I feel Gears of War will even please me more then GRAW to buy
Has anyone thought about the idea that it’s maybe a false statement, as the King Kong demo is also still mentioned at xbox.com even though it was deleted of Marketplace just after releasing it because it was corrupted?
Maybe GRAW is mentioned because they promised it would be there around the beginnen of March and that it will come somewhere in the future, but not know when exactly…

Well after the RR 6 demo looked around again on US account and just from pure boring afternoon blues downloading Superman trailer now also not available on Europe Marketplace…

So if the demo is defo coming soon… ill wait and play the demo then decide if to buy or not..

Just buy the game. It is definitely worth it. You will not be disappointed! And on a high-def TV it is amazing.

Ofcourse the game is worth it. Just as a lot of games are worth it and upcoming titles that will be worth it even more maybe.
I don’t care really, just want to try it myself before I decide that it will be worth it. I even don’t care that the GRAW demo wasn’t there before the game was released even if they anounced it would be. But I must say, every time when an anouncment is done again one starts hoping…

i believe technically it is a RUMOR till its TRUE… information substantiates nada. if xbox.com says the demo IS there and it is NOT there, it is a rumor. american heritage defines the word rumor as “unverified information received from another.” this info does not seem to be verified.
possibly you could claim that if xbox.com said the demo WILL be out at a certain day and time, that would not be a rumor, because the info would be coming straight from the horses mouth, but if the info is coming from xbox.com, i can almost guarantee it is not the mouth the info is coming from.

Ah well we’re rather used to MS screwing up on demo’s by now, so rumor or not, the thing isn’t there and they are saying it is, so it’s all their fault
