Some of you are likely to quickly skip past this news, since the name of the game doesn’t ring any bells. Hold your horses for a moment, as you might just have missed out on a classic first time around. Dreamfall: The Longest Journey was one of those games that was received with great praise, but played by so few. Thankfully Microsoft and Funcom have joined together to make this available on the Xbox Live Marketplace next Monday.

There’s one slight snag though, being that the download won’t be available in all regions. Americans get it of course, but Britons looking for a nice game to pick up whilst waiting for Grand Theft Auto IV will be disappointed, as it’s a no show on these shores. Why? Who knows, but alas we will have to wait and hope that one day it is made available to us. If you live in the US, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, France, Netherlands, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, India, Australia or New Zealand you will be fine though.

In this easy-to-use context-sensitive interface, scan your entire visible environment as seen by the characters, and use it to get information on far away objects and trigger remote gameplay opportunities.

The game will cost 1200 MS Points and is rated M for Mature. This is an action-adventure game that will capture the hearts of many, it’s just a shame not everyone will get the chance to experience its brilliantly told story.
