Ninja Gaiden II demo coming in May

This time, it’s an actual demo too, not some video that was deliberately labeled to be misleading. The official Xbox site for Ninja Gaiden II says we will see the demo in May, as well as some exclusive content on the 15th April.

Built from the ground up for Xbox 360, Ninja Gaiden 2 is the long-awaited sequel to the blockbuster hit, Ninja Gaiden. Get your hands on the free demo coming to Xbox LIVE Marketplace in May, and guide Ryu on his mission to avenge his clan!

The 15th April surprise will probably be some Gamerpics and Themes, since they are always popular in the run up to a game’s release. Although a nice surprise would of course be another trailer, so we will have to wait and see on that one. There’s also a handy counter on the left side of the page, informing everyone that there is just 68 days left before the game is launched on the 3rd June. Who’s excited?

Can’t wait. I just picked up Ninja Gaiden on the DS to tide me over till this comes out.

Chris I just got my beta key for BF (pre-order game on Gamestop.com) and from what I’ve heard the game is off the hook. I’ll find out tonight for myself.

The walkthrough demo looked terrible. Can’t see why anyone would part with money for this one based on that. The enemy AI was pathetic and it looked incredibly boring. And fixed camera angles. Too old skool for my taste. Just my opinion.

i know it’s just your “opinion” but have u played the last build of the game yet? i thought they were still working on it?

NG2 doesn’t need a demo just hype the hell out of it a la halo3. btw manodestra you are a idiot, so shut da hell up.

What part of “Just my opinion” did you not understand? No wait, the fact that you used the word “da” instead of “the” tells me all I need to know. And you have the audacity to call me an idiot?

Why would anyone want to play a game where they kill a billion enemies who all stand still or amble about slowly waiting to be attacked? Try Rainbow Six Vegas 2 to see a difference in AI. Free speech buddy, just try to stop me.

Most of those enemies don’t stand still at all, and are actually quite apt at kicking your ass. If it was too easy then you either played it on the wrong difficulty or not at all.

Or better yet, if it’s not hard enough for you, try a skull or two, that should make things far more interesting…
