The galactica game brings an experience that is out of this world!

Feeding Frenzy available on the Arcade

Bored with shooting down tangos in GRAW? Me neither. However if you are not playing GRAW for some wild reason, head over to the Xbox Live Arcade and download Feeding Frenzy (30.75MB). The game’s objective is pretty simple, you’re a fish and you must eat anything smaller than you and steer clear of anything bigger. The gameplay’s allot like Geometry Wars minus the shooting in fact.

Features Slurp, gulp, and crunch your way all along the Frenzy Coast in Feeding Frenzyâ„¢! The rules here are simple: Eat anything that’s smaller than you and swim clear of everything else. The more you eat, the bigger you get, and the bigger you get, the closer you come to taking on the fearsome Shark King. Starfish bubbles don’t help you grow, but they’re an easy way to boost your score. Oysters offer up bonus points in the form of pearls, but be quick or the shell could snap shut with you inside! Nibbling on the tail of a patrolling barracuda is a risky way to earn extra points—he can turn on you in an instant. And the jellyfish—well, it’s best to swim clear of them altogether. Did you know that tuna can swim up to 50 miles per hour? Or that a parrot fish can change its gender? Feeding Frenzy includes more than four dozen fascinating fish facts like these—one between each game level.

  • A living world: Stunning underwater environments and rich sound effects.
  • Extras galore: In-game tips and fascinating oceanic trivia.
  • Multiple characters, modes, and levels: Gain exciting power-ups as you progress through 40 underwater levels in either of the two amazing game modes.
  • In-depth experience: Intuitive interface and addictive, unlimited gameplay, with unlockable secret skills and more!

The full game costs 800MP’s. Let’s hope Street Fighter 2:Hyper Fighting hits the Arcade soon.

Cool. I’ll have to play the demo tonight before I dive into GRAW.

Sound so crap I nearly fainted, sorry, but in my opinion… it total horse-turd.

PS//
Don’t mean to be picky, but you put Xbo Live Arcade.
“…head over to the Xbo Live Arcade…”
Really sorry for the not needed sources again.

Thanks, fixed :) (I have no problem at all with users pointing out typo’s and such in articles, keep it up ;))

Not another “Geometry Wars” clone!!!
Can’t they come up with something more original?

yea seriously, expecially ‘jewel quest’ was obviously a rip off of bejeweled.

This nor that is copying each other, they have been around for ages, especially this one. It’s on the net for free :)

You wanna play it for free, and not have the achievements to worry about?

Needs Active X to run, I think. Click the brown “Start Game” in corner of screen.

I played this game on the PC a couple weeks ago. It was pretty fun. If it’s 400 points, I’ll probably pick it up. I’m not spending 800 points on it though. I’ll at least try the demo to see how it plays on a console.

I’m affraid it is 800 points. I think so anyway, about 97% sure it is.

It’s 800MP’s.

Sorry about that.

Street Fighter was good, but I think overplayed, I want to know where the hell paper boy is, how cool was that?
Aswell as Mortal Kombat 3..?

I am ready for all the stick I’m going to recieve.

Actually, I want an online fighting game. So bring on SF2, biznitches.

(Burnout should be arriving tomorrow. Next week I upgrade to two games for sweet Oblivion love.)

this is not a geometry wars clone by the way, like robotron and smash tv both are. not that i don’t like the controls for those games, they are just extremely similar to one another gameplay-wise. but this fish thing is different, no doubt about that. not worth 10 bucks, but hey, it is different.

Mutigen ; in the game you’re ‘flying’ on a 2D plain while enemies spawn around you and the objective is to evade some of them and eat others.Especially the evading part reminded me allot of GW:RE.

If this is where the Live Arcade is headed…..I’m scared. If I wanted to play a bad flash game there are plenty for me on the web for free.

LOL I just had to point out how the guy above said Robotron and Smash TV were clones of Geometry Wars. You have it backwards brotha.
