Call of Duty: World at War trailer hitting Live this weekend
Mark your calenders, the first trailer for Call of Duty: World at War will be hitting the Xbox Live Marketplace this weekend. The first glimpse of the series’ return to the Second World War is only a few days away.
The trailer’s release will be a bit different than the usual. The trailer will be available for download Saturday but will then be taken down on Sunday. Make sure to schedule a few minutes with your 360 to grab this before it disappears. The big question is will the trailer silence the Treyarch haters or will the criticism of the developer’s efforts reach an all time high?

i totally agree with kevgallacher this is like the tenth WWII remake that has came out why would they not continue such a great game like COD4 and just go a step back and recreate COD3
well they said that gamers were fed up with the middle east playing field. but yeah complete crap. have it in like china where its 4 soldiers vs the millions of chinese and theyll have the 4 guys end up winning

There is only so much they can do with that war and they have pretty much done it all. They are basically recreating the same games again and again.

I love how people say WWII is played out when almost no one has touched the Pacific ground Campaign. British rebels, Chinese resisters on the mainland or the amazing American island missions…None have been played out, this is an untapped ressource
The company issue is anything thing altogether, IW are the Champs of COD. But whatever, let’s wait and see.

look, just because its “been done” doesn’t mean it can’t be done again.
Consider that this will be the 4th installment in the CoD series involving WW2 and (here’s the important part kids!!!) THEY HAVE NOT USED ANY ONE PARTICULAR BATTLE MORE THAN ONCE.
They should maybe try WW 1 rather than 2. Hmmm then again ;o)
the game would be too stale if set up during WWI, lack of differentiating weapons and the such
if it were ww1 it would be all trench warfare,taking random shots at enemies 100 yards away.
Until you are told by some upper class tit to get your arse over the top and you get slaughtered in a hail of gunfire.
