Like it or not, Glov is a respected (however much people dislike him) member here and makes good points quite often, with his own brand of humor mixed in. He doesn’t put up with ignorance, which is one reason why I personally appreciate his posts, and those of others that do the same (mu and mass9 come to mind). I took offense because you attacked him without having previously made any memorable posts, so it appeared as if you posted just to flame him. It’s generally an accepted rule in communities like these that you have to become an active member before you go about flaming people. We are not going to know when you are kidding and when you aren’t until we know your posting style better.

If this was not your first time here, like you indeed claim it was not, then I’m sorry. I still think the attack was unwarranted, and I think that if you have a problem in the future then you should just do like everyone else and play-flame or debate. I won’t bother with what you’ve got going with anyone else here, as I just don’t care anymore. Just figure out if this is where you want to be or not, and then behave appropriately.

My comment about you dying was after reading all of the bullshit you posted and telling Glov to go die. Don’t dish it if you can’t take it (which you obviously can’t). If you’re new to a website, you do not attack the order of things as a first move. You say, “HEY GUYS, I’M AN ENTHUSIASTIC NEWCOMER, DON’T MIND ME”. Christ, you’re not even a good troll.

My problem is that you are obviously new to this website and you’re coming in trying to stir up the community for no reason. NOBODY CARES IF YOU’RE INSULTED. If it pisses someone off, they flame back, and that’s the end. Everyone has a laugh and moves on to the next post. You’re too caught up with the insults to realize there are often good points made in the middle.

Mano has never said anything about this previously and I doubt he will again, because nobody will be dense enough to make this kind of a scene. There are no other visible supporters for you. You are alone on your soapbox, and most importantly, the regulars of the community are against you.
