Is the frame rate still choppy? And is the camera still an issue? Try it out and post your impressions in the comments section below.

Pretty much gets destroyed everywhere ppl talk about it. No surprise there tho …
Luckily I saw it was up and started downloading it before I went to work… Won’t be able to try it til later today though…
Downloaded quick for me resulting in quick disappointment
lol, big surprise…..
Sony fanboi numero uno is disappointed.
SHOCKING
that said, my roommate d/l it today, and it looks…..um….less than fun (putting it mildly).
Sucks too, with a CDN developer, I had high hopes for a homegrown hit. Oh well, maybe they’ll fix it for the final release?
Downloading now but i must say im not expecting it to be any good.
is it really that bad?
sucks…what do you expect.9yrs back and forth cmon..
bring on a star wars unleased demo now that would be great…also killzone is that ever comin out
Does anyone have anything good to sa about it?
it’s not running to the unreal engine is it?
@chris
yes, it’s bad. after finishing it for the 3rd time it feels less bad because you get used to the controls but all the technical issues (framerate, camera, sluggishness/clunkyness) remain.
@Josh
It used to be UE3 but approx. 1 year ago SK switched from UE3 to their own engine. Still kinda looks like UE to me tho.
Its nowonder they were blaming Epic games when they turn out garbage like this! Wow this game sucks a massive peen
Horrible. Absolutely horrible. The camera is aggravating as hell, the controls are terrible, the combat is lame. The framerate issues still persist, and the graphics are mediocre.
This game needs another year of work.
The camera is annoying and the combat seems a little… well, easy. Everything else seemed decent to me, though.
Also, the storytelling is top-notch. Very cool.
The storytelling and the item/inventory stuff is very good indeed.
After playing more the camera really isn’t so bad, as long as you change the perspective (d-pad up and down). The strategic camera is pretty decent.
This game has taken 9 years?
I’m pretty sure you could knock up a better game after a few hours in Flash.
I think the demo is great! The combat is way to easy but the story, graphics and RPG elements makes up for it.
I loved it. I was disappointed on the first playthrough, but I’ve gotten much better. I like it so much now that I suspect that the people who don’t like it suck at it. Seriously, it’s really when you know what you’re doing.
It’s not a question of sucking at it. I finished the demo through first time, but what bugged the absolute shit out of me was the fixed camera. This is such an outmoded, old skool concept. For a 3rd person action game of this type, there’s really no excuse these days for having the left stick control movement and the right stick to freely control the camera e.g. Splinter Cell. It’s the most natural and intuitive control system for games of this type and any other system just simply does not make sense. They could easily have put the attack button on X instead of on the right stick. And you could have used LT to lock on or to block like any other 3rd person action game.
They need to change this before the game comes out, but sadly I reckon they’re not going to have time to amend this in time for release. So, I’m afraid it’s no sale for me. I was really looking forward to this game, but the camera and the repetitive “99 nights” style of fighting and lack of diversity in the enemies made me feel so disappointed. It could have been so much better than this.
I might pick it up when it appears in the bargain bin two weeks after it’s release…
