[E32008] Sega unveils Sonic’s beastly form
The fact that Sonic Unleashed will be divided into parts in which the speedy hedgehog will do what he was born to do, zoom along miles upon miles of terrain, and parts in which the focus will be on combat has been known since the game’s official announcement in early April. We’ve seen screens and footage of the former slice, but what about the combat? Sega has now lifted the veil on the latter via a brand new trailer which shows what Sonic will be up to at night.
During the daytime, the blue hedgehog will be burning calories by running like the wind, mainly on rails. However, when the moon hits the sky, Sonic will transform into a werehog, just like it has been rumoured all along, as a consequence of Dr. Eggman’s dark magic. This will make him a lot slower, yet a lot stronger than before. These combat-focused night sequences will be used to change the pace, along with a few platform segments here and there.
Sonic Unleashed is expected to release this Fall.

what is up with that shit music
Looked good for 2 minutes, proper speed, decent grahpics, varied environemnts, and then:
QTE - when people realise these are DULL, and break the immersion.
Were-sonic - excuse to have a poorly execute fight, with limited moves, and little to no variety.
Grats Sega, you shot yourselves in the foot again.

fighting toooooo slooooooow for a sonic game. hey he has to be faster in combat with a lot diferent moves in store to be fun cause its only one character in the game! the rest it’s just ok for a sonic game .it looks cool cause I love the speed!
About as appealing as a glass full of Amy Winehouse’s vaginal discharge.
Why can’t they just deliver a new sonic game…. but like the side-scrolling older ones from the mega-drive, with more levels, HD grafics, cool soundtrack, online mini games and multiplayer. Failing that what about GTA featuring sonic as the main character…. or Mortal Kombat vs Sonic… thats bound to be better than Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe.

well i thought the game looked really cool,
ok for some reason it cut my message out and i dont feel like retyping everything so basically i said this game would kick a$$ for kids not for us. we see too many things wrong wit it and its too repetetive but kids dont really care bout that.
