N+ expansion hitting tomorrow

There seems to be quite a treat in store for Xbox Live Arcade fans tomorrow, because not only are two games hitting the download service, but now two expansion packs will be joining them. N+ developer Metanet has sent word along that their expansion of the massively popular platform game will be arriving tomorrow too.

According to Metanet:

This set of levels contains 150 “easier” singleplayer levels, and 50 “pretty hard” co-op levels; it will cost 200 points, which is only 1 point per level!

This is the first in a trio of expansion packs, with the next one not coming until after August. However this fresh DLC, dubbed “Levelpack 1″ will release for a mere 200 MS Points, which as Metanet point out is only one point per level.

The second expansion pack will also arrive for 200 MS Points and include 150 “harder” singleplayer, 50 race, and 25 survival maps. The third expansion features reworked levels from the original N — 150 singleplayer, 50 race, and 50 co-op. The third pack will also be free, which is certainly a great offer for loyal fans.

There is just a couple of problems though. The expansions will not help you with Achievement quests, nor with Leaderboards. Metanet hope to address this issue one day, but for now gamers will simply have to stick to the original game for their Achievement-whoring efforts.

Anyone picking this up when it goes Live tomorrow?

I will definitely be picking this up. I haven’t played this game in a while and now I realize I should be playing it again. I’m hooked on Guitar Hero right now. Consider this purchased by me.

I still haven’t finished the original. I get bored too quickly (not a knock on the game, more a comment on my attention span)

i love this and the one problem is not enough maps, so ill deffo pick it up. shame we still can’t have map sharing, cause i have very few freinds who play this and of those maybe one or two of them make maps.
