EA pushes Tiberium back to 2009
It looks like the French publisher Ubisoft isn’t the only company suffering from the delay virus at the moment, as it’s now joined by Electronic Arts and its up-and-coming squad-based first-person shooter Tiberium.
During an Electronic Arts financial call today, the company disclosed that the Command & Conquer universe-based tactical FPS won’t be able to draw advantages from the Christmas frenzy later on in the year. The game is now scheduled for release sometime before the end of March 2009.
Whether the reason for delaying the title is EA’s already massive holiday season lineup, or just that the game needs to spend a bit more time in the development oven wasn’t revealed.

probably delayed it because they thought it was too good and had to make it crappier
hahaha no doubt.
It’s funny, for the first half of a year we hear about all these games that are supposed to be released. We worry so much about how we are gonna be able to afford them all. Always forgetting that by the end of the year that list is cut by more than half as developers push their games into the next year. With Gears dropping in November, I’m sure we’re gonna see a lot of titles back out of the holiday season for fear of being lost in the shadow of hype. As long as Gears and Dead Space come out on time. I’m a happy camper…
Honestly, this game doesn’t look half bad.
Whatever they can do to keep this miserable game from coming out sooner.
OMG, a gamin company missed their delivery date? No way …
You honestly can’t at all rely on what these studios say.
