I just played through it, very good fun! It is not as interactive as I thought it would be but there are some pretty good moments! I’d say it would get a 7/10, I will definately still pick this up!

I hate it when people rate games on a scale from 1-10. That means shit all to me.

Comment by The_Glovner on 2008-08-22 13:04:56 | Reply

Okay well the vegetable rating for it is potato.

…but cauliflower and beans are a better source of the ‘force’ - if you catch my drift (which probably means you’re down-wind of me).

The controls do take some getting used to, but after a few play tries, it’s amazing to say the least. The lightning is a little weak, but the force push and grip make up for it. Idk about you guys, but it looks like the metal bends the same way each time… which isnt what we’ve seen so far. Overall, demo gets an 8.5/10 when you get used to it.

Comment by Sean on 2008-08-22 13:32:47 | Reply

Metal bends the same way each time? You must be playing on a standard def tv than buddy.

Comment by KultiVator on 2008-08-21 17:30:12 | Reply

Important questions ahoy…

Will the demo let me:

1)Force-push the clothes off Princess Leia or her fit mum (preferably before she’s dead - I like Milfs - but they do have a use-by date).

2)Force-part the fur of a wookie?

3)Force-grip my ‘chicken’ so that I can ‘choke’ it hands-free (which might be important if option 1 isn’t catered for!).

As you can see - these are serious concerns.

;-)

The metal does not allways ben the same way cause i have done it multiple times and thimgs are really different

Comment by The_Glovner on 2008-08-22 13:07:40 | Reply

Different, like our conflicting ideas on some “things” not “allways” being spelled correctly?

Comment by KultiVator on 2008-08-22 16:23:45 | Reply

Be kind - video game veterans these days are often badly deformed from having their hands hunched over twin-stick joypads for too many hours.

They have lost the ability to use a keyboard as they can’t see past their nobbled hands, which frequently resemble bunches of bananas.

… and you know what’s good at eating bananas don’t you? (Self-assessment test follows)…

a) Gorillas
b) Milf-snatch

(Notice too how bananas are ‘thimgs’ that ‘allways’ have a ‘ben’)

I’ll get me coat!!!

great. My internet is broken. Im on my phone now. No demo for me yet… Fuck.

I liked how you could bend the struts out with force grip or blast them a few times with force push to take out a TIE fighter.

I didn’t really get that you could combine powers until my second go, when I started getting out my lightsaber and throwing into floating peoples chests.

Comment by KultiVator on 2008-08-24 10:25:12 | Reply

Just wondering what you thought was better about the PS3 visuals?

Comment by stumpa on 2008-08-24 20:08:13 | Reply

just looked a little crisper might be because of the hdmi connection on my ps3 instead of the vga connection on my 360 but when i tried the devil may cry demos it looked better on the 360 just my opinion not much difference though

Comment by KultiVator on 2008-08-25 23:33:27 | Reply

Thanks for the reply Stumpa - not big on all that ‘my console is better than yours’ business - so very glad to hear your objective comments.

Comment by stumpa on 2008-08-26 16:54:05 | Reply

i agree mate i’m fortunate enough to own both consoles and they both have pro’s and cons which ever console has the best version of a game is the one i buy i bought devil may cry on the 360 because i thought it was better but i bought gta 4 on the ps 3 because i thought it was better only my opinion some may disagree

Comment by mike on 2008-08-24 07:03:54 | Reply

game of the year.

Comment by Ali on 2008-08-26 15:48:39 | Reply

At the risk of being flamed (or should that read ‘falmed’?) the moves/attacks in the GT video reminded me a lot of TMNT on the 360.

I guess I won’t know until I d/l the demo and try it for myself but there is a sneaky similarity to it.
