Alone in the Dark didn’t quite live up to the high expectatons, largely due to the severe lack of polish and some questionable design decisions, like putting Zs at the ends of creatures’ names. If it’s any consolation to the owners of the game, Eden Games is working on a patch that will rectify many of the inconsistencies.

The changes, which include streamlined inventory systems, more coherent integration of the game’s final section, better camera system, and improved controls for on-foot and driving sections, have been made to the yet-to-be-released PS3 version of Alone in the Dark, and now the developer wishes to incorporate them into the Xbox 360 version via a good ol’ patch.

We’re yet to learn exactly what improvements will be included in the Xbox 360 patch, as well as when we are to expect it become available.
