Pre-order EndWar and get access to Beta
If you had bad luck with trying to get into the EndWar Beta back in June and absolutely want to get hands on the game early, Ubisoft is offering a new chance to do so, that is pre-ordering the Xbox 360 version of the game.
Those who pre-order the voice-controlled EndWar will be able to try out an open Beta of the game in early October. It will offer multiplayer functionality and will serve as a final stress test for the game’s online systems. Since there is a limited amount of keys available, access tokens will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis.
Said Tony Key, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Ubisoft:
“We believe EndWar will revolutionize the strategy genre on consoles and are thrilled gamers will be able to get a little taste of why we are so excited about EndWar’s release this holiday season. With its innovative voice command and intuitive game design, fans will be able to learn first hand how a console game was able to win the judges over and win Best Strategy Game of E3 for the first time in a category previously dominated by PC titles.”
Tom Clancy’s EndWar is set for release on the Xbox 360, PS3, PSP, and NDS in early November.

Game didn’t grab me or make me want to buy it in the beta that’s for sure. The voice command does work well and the persistent online world at war was pretty cool but the game itself was not very exciting. Nothing hugely bad about it but nothing stand out either.
limited number of beta codes = US only probably.
played the beta, terrible game IMO.
with the old soviet union showing its ugly ass again im sure we will have many more themes on this type of cold war, world war 3 stuff.
In America, you can always find a party. In Soviet Russia, Party finds you!
there is NO soviet union..dipshit
Who wants to take this one?
maybe not by name now shitfucker, im well aware of this, thank you captain obvious. their actions are just like it was the old soviet union.
i quite enjoyed the beta when it accepted what i was saying…
dunno how much i’d get into it though
Notice how the game was delayed after the beta finished. I can say my feedback certainly wasn’t very good.
This game isn’t nearly as good as it looks.
It just took one game.
Call me cynical, call me contrary, I don’t care but how do these companies keep a straight face? By all accounts the beta was rubbish and they know it, instead of delaying the release to improve the game they now ‘offer’ you the chance to play the beta version of a full game you’ve already ordered?!?!
cocks
id like to suck yours
Thanks cocks for your valuable contribution to the thread.
Dont bother the beta was shit
Don’t know how I can say that, I ain’t played it.
Oh thats right, I never wrote that.
Who ever thought the beta was bad needs a slap in the face!
I played the beta just now (10/20/08) and I thought that it was really good. I think the game meshed well and the combat system works. The things I don’t are these: 1) You can’t move your units to just anywhere on the map. You must move theme either to certain bases, or to attack enemy units (who would be en route to a base). 2) I did not like how unclear things were. When choosing units I knew that they had certain good and bad traits, but in order to see those I had to go to the start menu. There is also some sort of ability to upgrade your command bases, and then get certain benefits. That wasn’t explained at all. I don’t know if that is just because it is the beta, or if the real game will be as unexplained.
