Rumours are floating around that Halo 3 could be getting a new boost of life, after photo-evidence has surfaced of some thirty new Achievements. This falls inline with previous rumours about a mysterious “Mythic” screenshot taken days before PAX kicked off.

The orginal Mythic screenshot apparently only had multiplayer options, suggesting Bungie may have a whole new update package on the way. Whilst Bungie denied anything and everything, rumours shot up that something big was going to be happening at PAX. Sadly it wasn’t anything huge, however some sneaky ninjas managed to nab a few shots of some Achievements that Halo 3 will be supposedly be updated with. Note that previous expansions in other games have had a capped limit of only an extra 250 Gamerscore Points (with exception to The Orange Box, of course). The list of thirty new Achievements adds up to far more than that at 750 Gamerscore Points, however it makes sense that Microsoft would seemingly lift the limit for a special case.
