Microsoft announces price drops on select DLC

Microsoft has kicked off an Extended Play Download Days promotion on the Xbox Live Marketplace which has slashed the prices of certain pieces of downloadable content with up to 60% off. Check out the discounted DLC after the jump.

Until the end of October, the following DLC is offered at discounted prices:

Beautiful Katamari:

  • Accessory Set A - 120 MS Points Was 200!
  • Accessory Set B - 120 MS Points Was 200!
  • Accessory Set C - 120 MS Points Was 200!
  • Accessory Set D - 120 MS Points Was 200!
  • Special Accessory - 120 MS Points Was 250!
  • Just-Size Stage - 210 MS Points Was 300!
  • Big-10 Stage - 140 MS Points Was 200!
  • Big-10 Stage - 140 MS Points Was 200!

Mass Effect:

  • Bring Down The Sky - 300 MS Points Was 400!

Lost Odyssey:

  • Triple Bonus Pack - 120 MS Points Was 200!

Forza 2:

  • Motegi Track Pack - 240 MS Points Was 400!
  • September Car Pack - 240 MS Points Was 400!
  • December Car Pack - 240 MS Points Was 400!

Oblivion:

Most gamers probably couldn’t care less for Beautiful Katamari Accessory Sets being cheaper, but price cuts on downloadable content like Oblivion’s Shivering Isles and the Guitar Hero III tracks packs are certainly a sight for sore eyes.

Shivering Isles for $20 Tempting but if I wait long enough I bet it drops again heh.

I’m buying Shivering Isles on DVD, that way my son can play it on his 360 when I’m done.
