AC/DC LIVE: Rock Band Track Pack announced
Electronic Artsâ Rock Band 2 already features one track from the much-celebrated rock band AC/DC, which is a first as far as music videogames are concerned. - “Moneytalks”
- “Hells Bells”

Scheduled for release in the US this November and Europe, Australia, and New Zealand in early December, AC/DC LIVE: Rock Band Track Pack will retail for $39.88/39.99 EUR/29.99 GBP. Players will be able to export all the eighteen tracks to Rock Band 1 and 2 by entering âa special export authentication code.â
Said Paul DeGooyer, MTVâs Senior Vice President of Electronic Games & Music:
âWhen MTV first launched in 1981, we promised that people would ânever look at music the same way againâ and, with Rock Band, we continue to fulfill this commitment. We’re excited to be part of AC/DCâs and Columbia’s global plan for the release of their new album, DVD and now, videogame. Being the first to present these revered songs in interactive form, exclusively on the Rock Band platform is a true honor. For those about to rock with the AC/DC LIVE: Rock Band Track Pack, we salute you!”

40 bucks for 18 songs… sounds expensive…
I’ve I could also play the songs in a DVD player, then it would be worth it.
Would also be cool if it had music videos.
I am pretty sure (hopeful, actually) that they’ll have individual songs for download. There are about 5 songs that i’d have to have. But not worth $40
Incorrect pricing… it’s $29.88USD available exclusively at wal-mart. http://soundcheck.walmart.com/acdc/#/game
Even though its $10 cheaper, it’s still a bit overpriced in my opinion, although I’m sure I’ll still be buying it cause I’ve wanted “Thunderstruck” and “You Shook Me All Night Long” since GH1…
That would be the PS2 version …

Yeah me too, along with “Hells Bells” - shame there’s not a couple of trucking anthems from “Who Made Who” on there - not that I’m a trucker myself.
Are those definately the only songs? I really want AC/DC songs to play but $40 for 18 songs is a bit much…
Nevermind… I see that it is only 18 songs… hmm…
It does seem a little expensive, but considering that they would be $2 a piece on XBL that’s about right. Or am I off? I’m still not sure if I’m gonna pick that up though…
For a bundle it should be cheaper.
For a bundle it should be much cheaper, or at least include extra content of some kind.
I think its worth the price.. people have been complaining about the lack of AC/DC songs since the first guitar hero came out, and the price isn’t gonna hold anyone back from getting it.
I wil be getting it. But only for Christmas. I really don’t want to pay that much for so little. It’s great that it’s stand alone and you don’t need the original game. But for $40 it should have 40 songs. Then I would go buy it right away.
So as soon as someone figures out how to hack the “special export authentication code” can I borrow their DVD?
