Mercenaries 2 to get an update this month, DLC soon
To make Venezuela a happier playground to blow up stuff in, Electronic Arts and Pandemic are prepping a free title update, titled “Total Payback,” for the free-roaming action game Mercenaries 2: World in Flames. Following it will be paid downloadable content in November.
Set for release on October 13, the Total Payback update will add cheat codes to the game that will “unlock the total-payback power of all weapons, vehicles and airstrikes in Mercenaries 2, as well as everyone’s favorite: Infinite Ammo and Infinite Health.” Wait, there’s more. The update will also include six new playable characters and will remove the infamous regions restrictions from co-op play. Hurrah!
Anybody excited at this news?

That is FREAKING AWESOME!! I finally beat this game yesterday … I’m very excited about this … cross region support? w00t!
I’m thinking (HOPING?) the DLC will be so hard that you’ll NEED to cheat.
This is good news. I need an excuse to start playing this again.
Now what about bug fixes?
I shall be getting this for sure. But I’m not happy about the cross region support. At least when you’re playing in your own region, you’ve got a better chance of a good connection and there’s less chance I have to play with the “I’ve got something to prove to the world” brigade. You know who I mean…
actually, I don’t know who you mean
I am guessing that is sarcasm and I am guessing he means Americans.
It’s not sarcasm, but yes, of course, it’s the Americans. Give that boy a cee-gar! Thanks Glovner!
Give us a break. We’re trying to compensate for having a joke of a president for the past eight years.
You can start by not voting in Mcain and the waste of space Palin then.
You can’t blame acting like assholes on your administration, surely?
I can’t determine what the United Stupid of America will vote for.
And yes, yes we can!
October 13th, huh?
