Oh neato. I wasn’t too bothered about these games, but with a demo up I’ll definitely give it a look.

Gold only, guess I’ll have to wait for a week. Aren’t too excited about these games anyway but Banjo may turn out pretty cool.

Awesome and maybe next week a demo for Iron Chef America the game will be out, that way you can have the trifecta of shit game demos to play. Go Xbox. When are you guys going to stop settling for sub par games on a sub par system? Its never to late, Christmas is almost here, its time to tell your mommy’s and daddy’s you want a PS3 for Christmas. Don’t worry you can always use the Xbox to heat your house or fry eggs on.

You must lead a very lonely life being a ps3 owner (that your mommy gave you) with no decent games to play. How exactly is it that you ended up here instead of searching for gay pr0n?

Because with all that time he has not playing any games he has mountainloads of gay porn already and hours of his life to waste trying to slag off other people more fortunate than himself.

Have fun playing Resistance and other great exclusive titles on the PS3…such as Resistance 2. Funny that a sub par system stole a lot of Sony’s exclusives.

Okay guys. Stop arguing like wets and lets discuss this topic at hand.

Tomb raider - Nicer shiner graphics but the gameplay is the same to me. I guess i’ve just lost interest since TR 3. No game has really matched anything before that.

Banjo - Nice suprise for the demo but its exactly what I thought it would be. All the vehicle building takes up a lot of time and seems fiddly and i’ve never been into building Machines :3. So its a no go for me at least until its cheap. If they’d have stuck with more of a platformer I would of deffo enjoyed it more.

I thought you were dead?

I tried them both out last night, I thought Tomb Raider was as good as it has ever been. Nice GFX smooth animation, although, when climbing the stones her legs seemed to shoot out at an alarming angle, looked a little strange at times, but over all its looking very good. Yet another to add to the already huge list of games I must have.

Banjo on the other hand, it looked great typical Rare game, very colour full with great characters but, wasn’t convinced on the game play. Its a good idea and I liked the vehicle building just not so sure on what you did with them. Race from A to B, shove this ball over here etc… could become very tiresome. I’ll give it a chance but its going to have to wait until I’ve played the other AAA tiles. This ones not at the top of my list.

Tomb Raider demo is sweet. The camera needs some minor tweaking. Banjo…… I agree with the above poster except I’m not even going to rent this one.

Whats even worse is if you play Little Big Planet and then go play Banjo….RARE is stuck in time. MS cut your losses. Shoot it, shooooooot it!!

For both of these games I’ve never played any of their previous releases, so it was kinda interesting to find both on the same week.

With the Tomb Raider demo I was really impressed how good it looks, the puzzles weren’t so hard and it has a Prince of Persia feeling (which I played the entire trilogy), and great animals to fight. The scenery is beautiful and the music is great.

As for Banjo-Kazooie… I’m not so sure… I had really high hopes on this one… but, I don’t understand how a vehicles based game has so unresponsive controls… I turned upside down the trolley about 50 times, I kept crashing all the time and my vehicle was tearing apart. I mean… the game is already a bit weird to control and you lose pieces when you crash ??

It was kind interesting the way to build the vehicles though, because you really can mix everything and make a weird machine that does something. I played for about an hour and I only found an extra crate with proppelers and flotators, but nothing else… I had to deal with the already in-game blueprints and I couldn’t achieve anything with those. I figured it out myself on a different way for the challenges.

How come a game like these has too much to read and almost nothing spoken ?? I think Rare is gonna let me down on this one…
