Following Activision’s trend of milking every franchise it has to the last penny, the new Guitar Hero band themed game is hitting the shelves soon with a multitude of Metallica tracks and several songs from other well-known rock and metal bands. Always good to see one’s favorite bands in a game, even if that game is a complete waste of money. Having musicians as role models is one thing… actually pretending to be them is a totally different one. Anyone out there that will actually buy this?

Guitar hero world tour is awesome, they should release one of these for my my chem (even if you dont like them and want to call me EMO it would sell)
As long as it works with the Rock Band guitars I’m in. Too many good songs. Kyuss and Mercyful Fate is the icing on the cake.

And to answer the question, yes it will sell - boatloads - to a legion of Metallica fans that want to play classics like “Creeping Death” and “Fade To Black” on Guitar Hero.
Or is our friend Ryan just another of the elitist dunderheads that don’t understand the attraction of the rhythm music games, and is left dumbfounded by their obvious success? How much money has Guitar Hero netted Activision now? Seem to recall that it was posted very recently, on an actual decent internet game news website…
Insanely hard Guitar playing plus some slow sloppy drums? who wouldn’t want this? Except for drum players like me. Pass

What no mention of Expert+ ???? Pretty sure they’re gonna release something to make it so you can use a double kick! AS much as I hate everyone in the band as a person, there music unfortunately is pretty good

Now that the site has become such crap with articles not covering the full game and doubting people will buy it… I see why I don’t visit here nearly as much. It’s stupid things like that that make me rather get news elsewhere. Terrible writing on this tiny article.

I would have to agree with you. I USE to visit this site all the time. And I must say with this article…. GET NEW WRITERS! How can you put down a game, and ask if anyone is going to buy it?
