Wolfenstein 3D coming to XBLA

Mein Leben! That’s what you’ll be hearing when Wolfenstein 3D comes to Xbox Live Arcade. Once again the ESRB gives away this information by just putting it on their site instead of the publisher issuing a formal press release. Not only XBLA is getting this nazi shooter, Playstation 3 users will also be happy to know that it’s coming to PSN.

Not much is known about this game so far, but it’s probably just the same game that hasn’t been upgraded to today’s standards. With the upcoming Wolfenstein game from Raven Software, Wolfenstein 3D might get people excited.

As you can see in the screenshot above, the game doesn’t look so pretty anymore nowadays, but at least you get to shoot nazis. Even with pixels the size of melons, this’ll surely be some fun to some of you, right?

No release date has been set, but it’ll probably before Wolfenstein comes out, which is unfortunately on a TBA status.

Daddy of em all? So you mean Doom then?

Wolfenstein 3D was the first popular fps. I think it all started with Catacomb Abyss, also from ID software.

before doom there was this so this was the daddy but doom is more well known both by id software anyway

I actually always thought Doom was first, thats why i never appreciated the dullness of wolfenstein.

As long as it’s 400 points and not 800 I’ll give it a go.
