Are you still wandering around Albion saving helpless maidens and giving the odd Demon Door a helping hand? If the answer is yes, then you are Lionhead’s kind of person, and they plan on thanking all you fans with more DLC, this time hinting at the ability to see whats in store for
Fable III the future of Albion.
Microsoft and Lionhead have revealed the second batch of Fable II DLC “See the Future” will be arriving sometime in May for 560 Microsoft Points (GBP 4.76 / EUR 6.72). Fable II disappointed many people when it was released last year, yet was still one of the best selling games of 2008. Lionhead obviously see it as a triumph, releasing “knothole Island” recently and now this larger pack. It would seem there are still many adventures yet to be had for the heros of Albion.
The amount of new things plus the chance to see into the future of Albion is enough to get any Fable fan dusting off their disks in May, isn’t it? Heres some info from the Lionhead site:
In “See the Future,” players will be given the chance to heed the call for a hero to restore color and balance to the world, or let Albion fall to the wayside. Those who emerge victorious will receive the ultimate reward: a quest that provides a vision of Albion’s future and what lies ahead for those born into the heroic bloodline. The fantastical new quests in “See the Future” will bring players face-to-face with new characters, creatures, events and legendary artifacts, including:
Murgo: Having first met him during the childhood sequence of “Fable II,” Murgo returns to Bowerstone Market to bring an amazing array of new wares, including potions that can transform canine companions into new breeds.
The Colosseum: The Colosseum puts even the Crucible to shame. Only the greatest heroes have triumphed here. Players’ abilities will be put to the test to prove themselves in combat once and for all, to win the ultimate in prizes.
