GameInformer Magazine, June edition has the worlds first exclusive look at Infinity Wards ‘Modern Warfare2′, but leaked images containing all the juicy information a Call of Duty addict could need have been unearthed. It seems that ‘McTavish’ one of the familiar lead characters from the previous Modern Warfare is back on board to deal with the threats this time around from ‘Makarov’ a murderous sociopath who holds significant power in Russia intent on revenge after ‘Zakhaev’ was killed in the prevous outing. In the article, Infinity Wards president, Jason West explains how its all about initial, massive impact and how much they have learnt and progressed through having over 12 million people interested in their game. He assures us that it is not merely new content based around an old infrastructure for those who are to assume it merely could be just an expansion to Call of Duty 4:Modern Warfare as the gameplay is wide-open with lots of variety. On the other hand he does justify the rather short single player campaign from the original Modern Warfare and doesn’t give us much hope for an extended version in Modern Warfare 2 as they dont want to stretch out the story unnecessarily.
