No Dead Rising 2 at E3
“Fuck”, that’s probably the first word that comes to mind when you read the title. “Fuck the swine flue” will probably be the next few words as you read on. Apparently Capcom won’t be coming to E3, because of Japanese Government restrictions thanks to the outbreak of swine flue in the country.
Capcom’s senior director of communications and community Chris Kramer told Kotaku this news and he also said that the company is taking the advisory very seriously. Although it’s not forbidden to travel, Keji Inafune and his henchman won’t be making it to E3, instead they want to be good citizens and stay home. The Osaka based company hoarded surgical masks and sanitizers to prevent infection from the zombies locked in their basement.
So why isn’t Dead Rising 2 being shown at this year’s E3 when it’s being developed in Canada? Capcom isn’t cofortable having anyone else demo the code, since mr. Inafune is staying in Japan. How lame is that, developing the game, and not being allowed to show the game on E3. Lets hope we’ll here some new stuff about the game, get to see a new trailer or perhaps even receive one of those lovely early release Capcom demos.

I think I’m the only one here that isn’t all that excited about the new Dead Rising game.

This is dumb! Swine Flu is all media hype a few people who live in mus huts in mexico have died and a person who was gonna die real soon in america, how the hell is that people are dieing all over the world, i dont even care about this stupid flu.

The swine flu is clearly being overblown. No One Died except in Mexico, I mean what else can you expect from a country whose own drinking water isn’t safe?
The only person who died elsewhere from the flu had previous medical conditions, and the swine flu just edged him along.

I hate how the media overblows the simplest and most trivial events and make it into a biblical event.
Now I am disappointed with Capcom withholding DR2 from the public over the such a stupid thing when they themselves went through the whole with the Bird Flu and SARS back a few years. They should know the media would blow shit like this out of proportion. This is, after all, how the media makes money, Scare People Shitless, give them info they don’t need.
BTW, it’s Flu, not Flue, I think that’s what we call ash buildup in Chimney’s, but hey, I could be wrong.
I believe a flue is the channel leading from the fireplace itself to the chimney (which is the bit that actually sticks out the house).

Dead rising was so boring, i was really dissapointed in it, il give this a miss.
These games are nothing like Shaun of the Dead.
I’m not much of a racing gamer, although, I do love Burnout Paradise. I think it’s the crazy slow motion crashes that do it for me. (-:
