Video Footage of Zune HD
The popular gadget blog website Gizmodo have found a preproduction model of Microsofts recently announced Zune HD player. The video shows off nicely all of the menu features and a very impressive touchscreen to die for!
The new Zune HD has been reported to be tighter and more beautiful than the iPod Touch with an impressive user interface. It’s very quick in responding to swipe gestures and images rotate very fast!
The new Zune HD will be released this Autumn and will not be released outside of the US.

For the first time I can say for Microsoft that the hardware looks better than the software. I have a 80GB Zune and they better fix that software.
Personally, I really don’t see anything that would make someone want to buy this Zune HD. Its really stupid to put out a product that matches the competition.
Its also dumb to announce a product with minimal features that will attract others.
The Zune Marketplace coming in the UK (even though we aren’t getting the Zune) would be better also if they allowed a download to media player option so that the content works on other media players other than a Zune!
It is a limited product aimed at one country!
A portable xbox console would have been better!!!
They’re speculating that it will be able to play games.
As for the 80GB Zune, I don’t see what’s wrong with the software other than it being somewhat slow. I like it far better than iTunes (although, it’s not hard to be better than iTunes).
An mp3 player, OLED touch screen, HD video with an HD output… why WOULDN’T you want it??
I have a 32gig touch that is almost full. Zune HD here I come!!!
Definately sold on getting one now, just hope they are out by December.
Why no release outside the US, do they not want to make more money?
I think it could be to do with pre-release marketing and production costs. We do have better than this as media players and a Zune over here would just be seen as an Xbox Live Marketplace extender.
PSP-Go! (which has been confirmed now) will outdo this a million times over.
