Simply described as ‘Project Natal’ for controller free games; upon launch you can play sports, dancing, fighting games where your actions, and emotional reactions will all be acknowledged by your Xbox 360. Yes we even said ‘emotional reactions’ weird, clever or just plain spooky?

The device itself is an RGB camera which combines depth sensors, a multi-array microphone and a custom processor running proprietary software all in one device to track full body movement in 3D and respond to commands, directions and even shifts of emotion in your voice! The in built sensors are also reported to only be able to monitor and focus on the person playing and not include any background movement from other members which could interfere with gameplay. Games can be controlled by movement, voice, reactions or all three at once to truly create a whole new way to play like never experienced before.

Another interesting fact is the camera will also be able to log you into xbox live by face recognition alone! How’s that for clever?
