Project Natal Launch Title
Project Natal, the 3d motion detection technology where your whole body using free movement becomes the controller has yet to be named - but today it has been revealed that ‘GAMER’ will be the launch title based on the upcoming movie by Lionsgate studios.

Official Plot of the Movie:
Gamer is a high-concept action thriller set in the near future, a time when mind-control technology has taken society by storm. Humans control other humans in a mass-scale, multiplayer online game. Reclusive billionaire Ken Castle (Michael C. Hall) has created the controversial form of entertainment, “Slayers,” a hugely popular game that allows millions to act out their innermost fantasies and desires - online - in front of a global audience. Gaming has evolved into a terrifying new dimension… mind control… mind manipulation… people playing people!
At the center is Kable (Gerard Butler), the superstar and cult hero of “Slayers,” the savage, ultra-violent first-person shooter game. Kable is controlled by Simon, a young gamer with a rock star status who continues to defy all odds by guiding Kable to victory each week. Taken from his family, imprisoned and forced to fight against his will, the modern day gladiator must survive long enough to escape the game to free his family, regain his identity, and to save mankind from Castle’s ruthless technology.
Milo Ventimiglia, Alison Lohman, John Leguizama, Efren Ramirez, Terry Crews, Kyra Sedwick, Zoe Bell and Ludacris co-star.
Gamer (Movie) is currently scheduled for a September 4th, 2009 release. No information on a game release date with Project Natal has been given, but the movie was also the first to ever premiere a trailer on a games console through Xbox Live.
The movie trailer below depicts a similar project natal style movement in a fictional online game environment.

As this can only remain a rumour, Xboxic have today contacted Lionsgate and is awaiting a reply.

Quite possible one of the STUPIDEST MOVIES EVER MADE. Jesus M. Crow.
I’m still doubtful over Project Natal’s capabilities as I just can’t see it being as perfect as they describe. I don’t think waving your arm left to move the nxe options will be as fluid as they show since loading notices appear over them now with constant pauses.
If I had tested it out myself - maybe I’d believe it, but I just think it’s going to go two ways - one big surprise or one big let down!
gay-mer
While I was reading the description, I thought it sounded retarded. After the trailer, though, it reminds me of a modern-day Running Man, and that was a good plain ol’ action movie.
I think as far as being the first title for Natal, I don’t think they could do with a much better premise than that - full body control over a soldier.
Im still not even sure if there’s any truth in it - but someone somewhere had to write something since all OXM did was post “Project Natal Launch Title” with this Video…
I’ll watch this, I’ve wanted to see what Leonidas can do with an automatic machine gun.
That and because I like John Leguizama and the movie poster. Plus the trailer screamed “ACTION JUNKIE, LITTLE STORY” and I’m like… yeah.
Whahaha you guys are so dumb. This is the funniest thing I’ve read in quite a while.
