Thank you Microsoft, for once again shutting out Europe, just like you did with 100 vs 1, Community Games and a zillion other things…

Pay more, get less!

Im in the UK and I manage to Play 1 vs 100 via having a US Account, which then invites my UK gamertag to join in…its really quite fun! The weird thing is its not like a game on your console, after the download - you can only access it via the primetime channel when its on…

Jason, thanks for the info, I had no idea about that. Does that mean that you can access US exclusive games (like the infamous “Aegis Wings” and “Yaris”) and Community Games from your UK account?

I haven’t created a US account yet because I’m afraid it violates the user “agreement” and that Microsoft will lock my European account…

Yeah when you create a US gamertag you can access the free games, themes and gamerpics. It saves to your HDD and then you can access them from your UK account later. I’ve had USA JAY for about 4 years now…

Yep, with u on that one Kid2007. Sometimes I feel like I’m a second class citizen against the US. Beginning to wonder if I should keep my money and spend it on non MS products

You guys are really picking a Michael Jackson video to get upset about?

Comment by boojum on 2009-06-28 20:57:12 | Reply

No, not the video per se, the principle of it all. Not the first time that non US gamers etc have been denied by microsoft

They’re an American company… you really can’t expect them to be able to get the rights to a free video in EVERY country that Live is available, and the same principle goes for just about everything else. If they didn’t make something available, either it means it would have cost too much money or they weren’t able to get the rights for it.

They may be an American company… but it is a Global network they are running.

Why should the US be the only nation allowed to honour a mans death with a video of his magnum opus ?

I’m envoking the school rules here… If you didn’t bring enough for everyone you shouldn’t have brought it here in the first place.

Well, the EU hasn’t exactly been friendly to them before (see the monopoly law suit brought against them). They don’t have nearly as much influence across the pond as they do in their home country.

Yes I understand that. I belong to a games site that has both US and UK members and certain games aren’t allowed in UK because different companies own the rights in both countries so only US can get them. But as FoolInjection said, why should only the US be allowed??

He is having his ashes put into etch-a-sketchs so the kids can keep playing with him.

I understand that Michael Jackson touched you in ways that only a Catholic Priest could but that doesn’t mean you have to take you loss out on me.

The next time Joan Rivers has a plastic surgery, they’ll recycle Micheal’s face.

When announced dead, a enviromental blogger asked if he was even biodegradable.

When told Micheal Jackson died, a 5 year old girl asked which one, couldn’t believe that white and black Micheal were the same one.

Last two were true stories, first one I heard from a coworker.

I laughed all the same.

I’m all for the jokes, just make ‘em good ones.

Did you hear, the results from the autopsy came back this morning. He died of food poisoning.

Apparently, he ate a 12 year old wiener.

^^^ now THATS comedy.
