Battlefield 1943 Rank Resets
Since Battlefield 1943 was released on the Xbox Live Marketplace, many of you will already be aware of the connection problems, server errors and how your only last minute option was to play a solo tutorial just to get a glimpse of the maps. From today you may have also noticed your game ranks have been reset.
It has been reported that DICE are performing maintenance and tweaks on the soldier profiles to make them play even better. All the kills will still contribute to the ‘Coral Sea Challenge‘ but no information has been given if they will go towards your overall rank. When the maintenance has been completed it is assumed the ranks will be put back to normal along with any unlocked awards - although DICE have assured gamers things will get back to normal, we’ll have to wait and see.
Meanwhile, many of the server issues have been corrected with EA adding more servers gradually to enable everyone to play. See you on the Battlefield - eventually!

Thanks for the update, Xboxic. A lot of us have been really frustrated with DICE the last few days. Personally, I havn’t been able to log in one single time.

I was amazed that even the trial is limited. I think I played 5 online games now it says the trial has been expired? Cheap bastards…
I couldn’t even play the trial !! - I couldn’t play it all until I paid the 1200 MS points. I saw others on my list playing it and thought, fuck it - I’ll buy it…then I was able to play.
Yeah I have had the same problem not been able to connect on the trial so I might just risk the full price instead bloody EA servers!
If you think this is something you know u really want - then yeah, unlock it…because I have no problems now
My rank is not reset…If they reset it then they already put it back.
Yeah i couldn’t play the trail so i took the risk and now it works fine. live a little
