Gears of War Avatar Armour Unveiled
Epic’s Cliff Bleszinski and Ron Fergusson have revealed that there will be Gears of War themed armour coming to Xbox Live Avatars soon. The announcement with pictures was made at this years Comic-Con event detailing that the armour wear will be available with the new dash update coming soon.
Due to Microsoft imposing rules that Avatar clothing and models can not look inhuman, a work around set of armour had to be made to represent the Locust Variety as shown below.
This armour set should be available when the new dash update hits on August 11th and may be available in the early update preview program. It has not been revealed if these are unlockable achievement awards, free to own on release or available at a cost.

Hopefully this is unlockable i dont think im going to pay for any avatar clothes.

Here is the pricing for LeChuck from Monkey Island so at a guess 240 MS points for the armour and 80 MS Points for the helmet!
This is gna look cool on the avatars, the cost isnt so bad than i thought.
It adds more interest. If I don’t get a MW2 avatar outfit I will be pissed off…
I’d rather, Marcus’ or Hoffman’s outfit.
This would make so much more sense to me if this stuffed was earned like gamer points rather than purchased.
