MW2: Ghost getting his own game rumour
During the recent Modern Warfare 2 launch event in the UK, the voice actor (Craig Fairbrass) for the Ghost character in the game, stated that a new game solely for Ghost is in the works in which he will be doing the voice over.
Speaking at the event:
“I did in the last game a voice for a character called Gaz and in this game I’m now voicing a guy called Ghost, who now just got a spin-off comic of his own and they’re talking about another little game to go with it,” Fairbrass said at the event (video’s on Live), “so, I’m quite excited about it. It’s grown and grown and grown.”
When asked about what is it about the character that’s getting people excited, he said, “I don’t know. It’s the whole thing I suppose of not knowing who he is. He’s like the head of the SAS and… I’m just so thrilled to be a part of it, I mean it just gets bigger and bigger each year.”
If such a game is in the works, then it presumably would be a prequel to the characters appearance in Modern Warfare 2. It would be more exciting if he was actually talking about a Modern Warfare 2 expansion pack - but until Infinity Ward or Activision release any official information this has to remain an exciting juicy rumour.

So Ghost, he appears with no introduction, all you are meant to know is that he is badass. Then he dies.
What?
And yet his face is on a lot of MW2 related things.
Just like Star Wars - Darth Maul, badass, came out of nowhere, then killed.
Talk about killing the best characters before they’ve even had a chance to develop!
Although I guess Darth Maul wasn’t voiced by, say, Alec Guiness.

With that little rant over, I would quite like a Ghost game, so long as it was made by Infinity Ward and was better quality than the shoddy Call Of Duty Classic that came with the hardened edition.
Shoddy Call of Duty Classic haha, it was meant to be the original - and is exactly the original. It was good in its day on PC, but yeah its crap now. But since I paid about ÂŁ33 extra for it and a tin - I force myself to enjoy it
Hell yeah, I loved the original, I was hyped about it since the demo.
When they advertised it was “being re-made in HD” I didn’t realise they meant “copy and pasted.”
I tell myself time and time again never buy steelbook editions, but I never listen.
