Activision confirms new Call of Duty

Finally, hard hitting proof and reassurance that we will see the release of another title in the Call of Duty franchise this year - Activision has confirmed a few new entries in its popular franchises to be released by the end of 2010.

There will be brand new Call of Duty, Tony Hawk, Guitar Hero and Spider-Man games. The new Tony Hawk entry will once again utilize the motion-sensitive skateboard peripheral released alongside 2009’s Tony Hawk: Ride.

During May 2009 we first brought to your attention how Activision had been pursuing licenses for Vietnam War era music, Cuban, Soviet Union and African music for the use in what could only be known as working title ‘Call of Duty 7′ which is meant to have the involvement of ‘Call of Duty: World at War’s’ senior producer Noah Heller. Although another Treyarch Call of Duty has been officially confirmed for a 2010 release, no other details regarding development or in-game locations have been revealed.

We will keep you updated.

I’m a little behind the times and just rented Modern Warfare 2. So addicting…it’s going to be hard to top that game.

HAHA…no its not gonna be hard to top mw2. Play online for any length of time and theres to much wrong to consider this a great game. Dont get me wrong I still play it but I honestly like world at war better. sorry

I still think MW2 is better than WAW.

MW2 is better than any other FPS I have EVERRRRRR!!! Played, glitches are only temporary - and it’ll be good when the new patch is out in a few days. However, even Activision have said that they do not expect this CoD game to be as big as MW2 & not even as big as WAW!, so I honestly think the next game is just ‘WAW 2′ built on the same engine. But I am expecting the Zombie mode to be improved much (hopefully) I’d be gutted if they put in Spec Ops

The group of guy’s I played W@W with all got MW2. But slowly they have all drifted back to playing W@W again. I played it the other night and found myself really having fun again. Mostly though I think I just need new maps on MW2. Can’t get myself to play just to boost my level. Still hate those Fucking Dogs on W@W though.

Yeah waw had its gripes from me as well. But mw2 has bigger ones. The dogs yeah they are a pain cause u cant counter then cept by shootin em, but the nuke in mw2 especially now with boosters in every game is pretty damn stupid. You cant in no way counter that and then boom game over. And dont give me that “well u should hunt those guys down and kill em!” I cant control the other 5 idiots on my team who run the same road over and over again boostin that guys score. Good game but wayyyyyy overrated.

Yeah I actually forgot about those dogs!!! Treyarch games you tend to be able to fall under the maps which I guess is better than care packages. If I so much hear of Care Packages in the next one, I’ll expect it ruined from the start…
