Ten Million Dollar Ghost Recon Prequel
Francois Alaux and Herve de Crecy, who are better known as the directors behind an Oscar-winning animated short film ‘Logorama’ are teaming up with a Hollywood writer to create a prequel film to ‘Ghost Recon: Future Soldier’.

The story will be about the setting up of a specialist squad of U.S. Special Forces in which Ubisoft have budgeted $8 million to $10 million specifically for this project. The ‘Ghost Recon’ short film also shows that Ubisoft is continuing to use this form of media to build up hype and advertise future games, since they first released an animated short titled ‘Assassin’s Creed - Lineage’ last November.
The 20-minute live-action prequel film is expected to be released shortly before ‘Ghost Recon: Future Soldier’ hits retail stores this Christmas.
