UK Sources date Halo Reach for September
UK retailers have come forward to inform CVG that the worldwide release date for ‘Halo: Reach’ has been set by Microsoft as Tuesday, September 14th 2010 - so as not to clash with this years Treyarch developed instalment to Call of Duty.
“It gives Halo enough time to maximise sales before CoD arrives,” said one senior trade source. “Xbox 360 is pretty synonymous with Call Of Duty, so it makes commercial sense for Microsoft and Activision to agree both games won’t come out too close to one another.”
A Microsoft spokesperson was unable to confirm or deny the exact release date, but it has been penciled in for the Autumn.

This will be the best Halo sense the last one, or the one before that, or the one before that. Definitely looking forward to ‘Halo-Stretch’ after this one. And then ‘Halo-Forever’ and then ‘Halo-Forever and Ever’. The game is getting old but a movie would be nice. Come on Neill Blomkamp!

Well saying something even if it happens to be opposite of your opinion is not only constructive it also happens to be my right just as it is your right. Funny though its not like I even slammed the game like a lot of people do, I simply said the game is getting old which is just my opinion, why is it people like you feel the immediate need to jump down other peoples throat simply because they don’t share the same opinion as you? And since your being so “constructive” with your kind comment regarding Call of Duty I’ll answer it completely honestly, I enjoyed Modern Warfare, I was very disappointed in MW2 and took it back for store credit. Believe me I’d be the last person to sing for Call of Duty. So take a breath, calm down, and stop getting pissy over a difference of opinion.
I am very much looking forward to this - and itching to get one of those backpacks on!!
I like halo for what I personaly get out of it and that is a great story and fun co-op play with my mates. I’ll dip my toes in the MP till in gets old which will be around the 3rd week unless there is some amazing break through in gameplay.
