News Flash: MW2 Double XP Weekend
The first ever Double XP Weekend for Modern Warfare 2 has been dated by Infinity Wards very own Robert Bowling (aka FourZeroTwo). The news was sent out via his twitter account this evening requesting we “Mark the calendars now!”
“Mark the calendars now! April 2nd - 5th marks the first Douple XP Weekend on #MW2 for #xboxlive worldwide. New Maps + Double XP = No sleep.”
The Double XP Weekend hits the first Friday after the release of the ‘Stimulus Package’ Map Pack on March 30th for 1200 MS Points. It still hasn’t yet been confirmed if the Prestige Icons gamerpics will be available for free during this time as was the original Modern Warfare gamerpics in a similar event in 2008.
You do not need to purchase the maps to qualify for Double XP Points and this date is for the Xbox360 only.

PS3 is a huge $500 coaster/ blu ray player. Xbox is the console standard for Live play.. With playstation you get what you pay for, when it come to online multiplayer games play better, and more exciting on xbox 360 and more people buy games on 360 becuase online play and more people escpeacially in america have 360. PS3 does have a great graphics and is a better system overall but it does not have the games, support, nor the live support or fan base as 360 does now. I owned them all and only games i have for ps3 our exclusive worth buying. and MAG was a total flop…. so i hope i answered your question
I hear ya steve or what ever your real name is. I almost bought a *GASP* PS3 today because of God of War looks Amazing and it’s going to drive me crazy to not play it. The only one in stock was a 120gig for way to much bread for me to feel good about it. I am going to keep searching online and such and will pick on up I’m sure.

Im not starting a flame war but xbl has to pay 40$ per year just to pay wheras psn is free. That is the only reason xbl gets exclusivity before the ps3 so dont complain if your not paying fools.

@sweatbands, this is what sweat is on about you pay for what get so if it is free there isnt the quality. this is why 360 gets dlc exclusives because we pay £40 a year microsoft pay for exclusives. does double xp work on standard playlists like HQ?
