They "could have" made Game Room so that visitors could play your games as long as they are in your game room for free. Which probably would have resulted in quite a big jump in sales of arcade games by encouraging folks to try before they buy so to speak. Kind of the shareware vision reborn on Xbox live. Instead we are getting yet another bill from Microsoft. It's not that it's not a great network or even that Game Room isn't a great addition to XBox Live. It's just that I think MS could have killed those birds and made their already cash strapped customer base a little happier in the process. Enough with the cash grab MS, how about you give a little back now? While we're at it, how about making it so I can: send links to dashboard items to my friends, gift points, and download free games after buying X amount.
