505 Games Releasing MorphX on Xbox 360 This June
505 Games, videogame publisher behind combat flight simulator IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey, has today announced that its long-time-in-development (first trailer released in 2007) sci-fi third-person shooter Morphx, previously known as The Swarm, will hit store shelves for Xbox 360 on June 1, 2010.

The game follows the story of a man who, upon scrambling from an vault underground chamber, discovers that the world has been left in ruins by a hostile alien invasion. Since the protagonist simply can’t hold a candle to the alien enemies, he succumbs to mutation and gains new abilities which keep him one step ahead of the opposition. Throughout the game, players will make use of a variety of weapons, learn new powers and morph alien DNA chains to augment said powers. Oh, that and contemplate the following profound question: »What is left of humanity to save?«
Let’s just hope the God-awful trailer isn’t any indication of the final quality of the product.
Well, apart from the totally ridiculous story the game itself may just warrent a quick trial. What do you guys think?
Looks very poor to me :P.
I like the look of this - can’t wait!!
