YU-GI-OH! 5D’s Decade Duels For Xbox Live Arcade
Konami announced today that the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise is coming to Xbox LIVE Arcade for the first time ever. Currently in development and torn from the animated series on the CW4Kids block on The CW Television Network and on Cartoon Network, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s Decade Duels will bring the fast-dueling and competition experience to the downloadable space for fans of the card game. Since Yu-Gi-Oh! has been a pioneer in bringing unique card experiences, Konami is continuing to trailblaze the genre by bringing the franchise online gaming consoles to continue to offer that rich sense of competition with numerous additions to the acclaimed card game.
The Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise is synonymous with competition and fast-pace dueling, so Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s Decade Duels is pulling out all the stops by giving players a starter deck to begin to duel with, including many cards from the animated series. Additional cards can be purchased as well to create a master deck to compete with. An enriched story mode will help new players learn to play and duel with characters from the animated series including Jack, Yusei and others. Take your skills online and duel against friends thorough any of the three modes of play.
- Rank Match- Compete against Yu-Gi-Oh! fans of the same rank and ability
- Quick Match- Jump right into the action and compete against any Yu-Gi-Oh! fan
- Custom Match- Battle your friends and completely customize the rules of play
By bringing Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s Decade Duels to XBOX Live Arcade, players are given a more interactive experience as now players can compete with up to four friends and utilize voice and text chat to communicate, in addition leaderboards will show players how they stack up with players across the world. These additional features will bring gamers together like never before.
Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s Decade Duels will be available in the spring of 2010 on XBOX Live Arcade.
