First he giveth, then he taketh away. Following the accidental and tantilising tidbits regarding Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 this week, retailers have since revealed Warner Bros plans to delay the Dark Knight’s next adventure till early 2011.

Speaking to CVG, their source revealed: “It wants to dominate the first quarter of 2011 instead, when it can get maximum retail space and mind share amongst gamers.” With AAA titles such as Crysis 2, Fable III, and a little known Halo: Reach all expected in the latter part if 2010, it’s understandable as to why Warner Brothers would want to avoid the heavy competition.
